Some driving questions

• Subtractive manufacturing: how can I subtract a part something from itself?
• Corrode something?
• heat(e.g. laser), chemical reactions(e.g. acid, electroanalysis), time(e.g. leaf), or just by force/stamp, like this:

• Must I have a perfect flat surface and then subtract material from it?

The first thing came to my mind is how to etch/engrave on yogurt. Idk why but maybe it's because I just saw this episode from Love, Death, Robot.

How to etch yogurt???

Not really etching...but use different surfaces

Japanese Mango Yogurt has crazy non-stick lid!

I'm thinking if I can combine both the non-stick lid and the sticky lid into one lid so that some part will have yogurt and the other part will be almost clear, therefore forming a thickness of yogurt on the lid and have hollow cut(no yogurt)!
